General Clarification Text on the Protection of Your Personal Data in Accordance with the Procedures and Principles of the PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW No. 6698 (“KVKK”)

DATA RESPONSIBLE:

In accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), some of your personal data is processed by the "Yürekler Umut Vakfı (YUVA)" as the data controller through the https://yureklereumut.org website. This text has been prepared on which personal data we will process and for what purposes, and we hereby inform you that the necessary measures have been taken to protect your personal data.

In all circumstances, your personal data that we have stated below;

• In accordance with the law and honesty rules,

• By maintaining the accuracy and the most up-to-date version of the personal data you share,

• For specific, explicit and lawful purposes,

• In a way that is related, limited and proportional to the purpose for which they will be processed,

• We declare that we will store and process them for the period required for the purpose for which they are processed or stipulated in the relevant legislation.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA:

Your collected personal data may be processed by YUVA in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

It is possible to contact our foundation via the contact form on the site. Name, surname, phone number, e-mail address data of people who fill out the contact form, whether they are foundation members or not, are processed through this contact form. These data are;

Execution of customer relationship management processes,
Follow-up of requests and complaints,
It is processed only for the purposes of conducting communication activities.

Some information regarding the transaction security of the visitors of the site is also processed. The IP address information of our customers who visit the site, their entry and exit information to the site are processed. These data are;

Execution of management activities,
Execution of information security processes,
Providing information to authorized persons, institutions and organizations,
Carrying out registration, activation and user verification processes on the site,
Execution of product sales and order processes, execution of the delivery processes of the products you have purchased,
Carrying out studies for the development and improvement of our products, services and processes,
Obtaining information about how people use and interact with our Site; thereby improving and developing the content and operation of the Site,
It is processed for the purposes of reporting, auditing and examining our business processes.

LEGAL REASON FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA:

These personal data are in accordance with the 2nd paragraph of the 5th article of the Law No. 6698;

clause (explicitly stipulated by law),
clause (provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, it is necessary to process the personal data of the parties to the contract),
(ç) clause (obligatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation),
It is processed based on legal reasons (f) clause (obligation of data processing for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject).

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION METHOD:

These personal data are processed automatically through the Site based on the legal reasons stated above.

TRANSFERRING PERSONAL DATA:

All these personal data processed by the data controller within the framework of foundation activities are not shared with third parties other than relevant public institutions and, upon request, judicial authorities. The personal data in question are not transferred abroad in any way.

All processed personal data are stored by taking administrative and technical measures in accordance with the provisions of the KVKK.

RIGHTS OF THE RELATED PERSON AS PERSONAL DATA OWNER:

Within the scope of Article 11 of the Law "regulating the rights of the data subject", by applying to the data controller;

Learning whether personal data is processed or not,
If personal data has been processed, requesting information about it,
Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with its purpose,
Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred at home or abroad,
Requesting correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions specified in Article 7 of the Law,
Requesting notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
Objecting to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing the processed personal data exclusively through automated systems,
In case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data, they have the right to demand the compensation of the damage.

You can forward all your questions, suggestions and requests regarding your personal information to the YUVA e-mail address to be forwarded to the Data Controller via e-mail. You can also forward your requests to us by using other methods specified in the Communiqué on Application Procedures and Principles to the Data Controller.

You can make your application regarding the processing of your personal data in person or through a proxy by proving your identity with a wet-signed application petition. In addition, you have the right to request the correction of your incorrect and incomplete personal data from YUVA and to inform the recipients whose data has been or may have been transferred.

“According to the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”;

Data owners must submit these requests in Turkish.
Requests must be submitted in writing or by using the e-mail address previously notified to the data controller by the data controller and registered in the data controller's system.
Applications must contain the mandatory elements listed in paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the above-mentioned communiqué. Otherwise, applications will not be considered.
